The Olney Angels girls under 18 softball team finished the regular season of the Phillies RBI league in first place with an 8-1 record. Now they head into the playoffs.
The Angels get a first round bye and will play their first game on June 6 at home.
The Angels starting pitcher Angelina Sannicandro, photo right, was just one of the Angels ace pitchers. She excelled both on the mound and at the plate in the final regular season game, an 8-6 away victory over the Somerton Yellow Jackets.
