What an incredible experience for our Feliz Filadelfia U13 boys! Our team was honored to receive an invitation to compete in this year’s Street Soccer USA Times Square Cup in New York City, joining teams for an exciting celebration of soccer, community, and competition.
This trip was extra special with the acquisition of our new team van! Coach Taz was able to bring 10 of our players and their families to New York, opening the door to an unforgettable experience and giving our boys the opportunity to represent Feliz Filadelfia and our city on a bigger stage.
Two Wins. Three Games. All Heart!
Our boys competed with determination, teamwork, and pride, finishing with two wins in three games and narrowly missing the finals on goal average. Although we came up just short of the final, our players showed resilience, sportsmanship, and the heart of a team that never gives up.
For us, this experience was about more than the results. It was about creating opportunities, building confidence, strengthening family and community connections, and helping our young people see what is possible when they work together and believe in themselves.
A heartfelt thank-you to our families for their continued support and to everyone who believes in our mission. Our new van represents more than transportation; it represents access, opportunity, and bigger dreams for our young people.
