We have known for years that soccer Coach Taz is the best youth coach in Philadelphia. But now it is official!
Coach Taz has now been named Coach of the Year by the influential Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative (PYSC). Coach Taz will be presented with the award at the Philadelphia Sports Legacy awards on May 20th at the new Sixth Man Center at 4250 Wissahickon Avenue in Nicetown.
Coach Taz was selected PYSC as he best coach of all the youth sports teams in Philadelphia. He is one of three people honored at the May 20 event. The other two are Eagles lineman Jordan Mailata who will receive the Montgomery-Wanamaker Citizen Award and Judge Timika Lane who will receive the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Community Award.
Coach Taz started the soccer program at Feliz Filadelfia from scratch almost three years ago and it has grown dramatically since then and coach Taz has made it fun for the kids every step of the way! Way to Go, Coach Taz!
