Feliz Filadelfia traveled to Kensington Soccer Club in early November to play its first ever soccer game. And not only did we play….. we won! Coach Taz filed this field report of the games with Kensington.
“Today was amazing! Kids had a blast and we won! If I stand correct, we won all of our age group games under-14, under-10, and under-8. I’m so proud of their performance, today they showed character. Great job to all the coaches, staff and parents!
This past weekend’s exhibition games were phenomenal. I could not be happier with their overall play and improvement over the past few months. These kids have NO limits and all the time in the world to fulfill their true potential on and off the field.
Their commitment and readiness to learn are truly remarkable, and that was evident last weekend. I couldn’t be prouder as a coach to see how far they have come, and to witness the smiles and enthusiasm from players and parents alike, knowing all the great potential that lies ahead. On behalf of the team at Street Soccer USA, I just want to say thank you to every one of you for allowing us to come along on this amazing journey.”
Coach Taz is on staff at Street Soccer Philadelphia which provides the soccer program for Feliz Filadelfia. As per a previous post, the Soccer Season is now extended until December.
