Feliz Filadelfia was honored as being a “model of stewardship” for our community by Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed (TTF) on October 18. It is TTF’s mission to provide hands-on education, stewardship, restoration, advocacy, and empowerment to improve the impaired waterways.
At present, TTF is in the process of completing a master plan for Tacony Creek Park, which will improve the conditions of our waterways. As a link to Tacony Creek Park, the goal of Feliz Filadelfia is to continue to maintain our fields by keeping it clean, enhancing our community garden, and educating our community on environmental awareness. It is an honor to be recognized and we look forward to our continued collaboration with TTF to ensure that this is successful.
