The Feliz baseball teams did great in the playoffs sailing through the early rounds. But like the Phillies, we were tripped up in the finals and denied the championship in 3 different age divisions.
Feliz Filadelfia ages 9/10 division were two outs away from becoming champions in the “A”division but Parkwood tied the game, sending it to extra innings and eventually won the game in the bottom of the eighth inning 4-3… What a game !
The Feliz Filadelfia 15-under team faced off against The Holy Terrors Razorbacks in the championship game and we lost 4-0 in what was a 0-0 score until the 5th inning. Once the Holy Terrors took the lead, thry never looked back.
Feliz Filadelfia 9/10 B division hosted a championship game against Bridesburg on Sunday November 5th. Feliz Filadelfia coached by Jose Delgado had a 5 -4 lead through 5 innings but just couldn’t hold on losing the game 6-5.
Although our teams came up just short of becoming champions, they all had fun during the fall season… We’ll get em next year !
