We started the day with a dominant 13-1 win over Liga Rolando Paulino from New York. In the second round, Feliz Filadelfia fell to a tough Reading team, 5-3. The championship round was a rematch with Reading.
Having arrived in Reading at 7:30am and already played two intense games, an exhausted Feliz Filadelfia squad gave it their all but fell short, losing 11-0 in the final.
One special moment came off the field when our players surprised their moms with red roses in honor of Mother’s Day, a gesture that showed just how much heart this group has, on and off the diamond.
Our boys were extremely grateful and happy to be part of this tournament experience. Feliz Filadelfia looks forward to hosting both teams in Philadelphia later this summer. Big things are coming !
