On August 26, 2023, Feliz Filadelfia hosted a backpack and school supply giveaway. Backpacks and supplies were giving out to all the youth participants that play sports with our programs. The kids were extremely excited on this day not only because of the free backpacks and supplies, but because of all the fun that Feliz Filadelfia had to offer. We had corn hole ,basketball games, volleyball games, fowling , tug-of-war, Free water ice, badminton and even a water balloon fight.
Mara Rivera again ran the concession stand and served hamburgers,pastelillos,water,Gatorade’s, and much more.
Parents, Team moms and Coaches got involved in the fun joining in on the games. We also had a special visit from State Rep. Anthony Bellmon who got the chance to tell our kids about the importance of school.
This was all in all a Great event to get our youth prepared for the new school year.
