On July 5th, 2022, the Feliz Filadelfia 15-under baseball team hosted a playoff game against a team from Parkwood. The Feliz Filadelfia Angels finished in 3rd place in the regular season standings while Parkwood finished 6th.
The stage was set for an awesome game with the field freshly cut and the flags waving on the gates. Fans came out and were excited for this showdown.
Feliz Filadelfia Angels jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the 1st inning and never looked back ! Feliz Filadelfia played an all around great baseball game hitting a total of 3 Home Runs for a 13-1 victory over Parkwood.
Take nothing away from Parkwood who is a good team but just couldn’t keep up with Feliz Filadelfia on this night. Home runs were hit by Starting pitcher Alex, Closer J’Shawn aka “Big Juice” and SS Nick Santiago aka “The Kid”.
Feliz Filadelfia now advances to round 2 of the playoffs on Thursday. They will play #2 Bridesburg on their turf in what is promising to be a fantastic game.
