The Feliz Filadelfia 19-Under Angels were on a mission to make it three straight championships. For the third consecutive year, they battled their way into the title series, but this time the run ended in a tough three-game set against the Philly Aces.

Game 1 saw the Aces come out hot at the plate, handing the Angels a 13–6 loss. Refusing to back down, the Angels bounced back in Game 2, showing grit and determination to secure a thrilling 7–6 victory and even the series.

The decisive Game 3 was shaping up to be a classic. Both teams traded blows, and by the end of the 4th inning the score was tied 6–6. Then came the rain. Play was suspended and resumed two nights later at FDR Park, beginning in the top of the 5th inning. Unfortunately, the Aces struck quickly after the restart, while the Angels came out flat. Despite their best efforts, the Angels fell 10–6 as the Aces claimed the championship.

There were still plenty of bright spots for the Angels throughout the series. Jose Rivera went an incredible 7-for-10 at the plate in the championship, including 3 Home Runs in 3 consecutive games, cementing his role as a leader in the lineup. Meanwhile, Juan Romero’s bat stayed hot through the entire playoff run and championship series, providing consistent offense when it was needed most. But even with those standout performances, it wasn’t enough this time.

Although the championship streak came to an end, there is plenty to be proud of. The Angels have now reached three straight finals, winning two titles along the way. This run is a testament to their hard work, talent, and the heart they bring to the game every time they step on the field.

The 19-Under Angels remain champions in spirit, and their journey continues to inspire the Feliz Filadelfia community!
