This inaugural season of the Roger Gordon League featured seven competitive teams, packed sidelines, and tremendous support from our families and volunteers. Every game was played with respect, energy, and pride…exactly what Feliz Filadelfia represents. The Angels embodied that spirit all season long, with every player contributing and stepping up when it mattered most.

Feliz Filadelfia made history as the 12U Angels claimed the first-ever Roger Gordon League Championship, sweeping the Swag Dogs from Max Myers 2–0. The Angels opened the series with a hard-fought 7–5 win, powered by clutch pitching and hitting the ball all over the field. Game 2 started rough, with the Angels falling behind 4–0 in the second inning — but this team refused to fold. They erupted for 20 unanswered runs, flipping the game completely and winning 20–4 to secure the championship in dominant fashion.

We also want to give a special shoutout to all seven teams for making this first season unforgettable. A huge thank-you to The Fishtown Hoagies and Sean Callahan for assigning umpires and staying on top of communication throughout the season. His support and consistency played a major role in helping this league run smoothly, and his efforts did not go unnoticed. We are extremely proud of all of our boys for the heart and dedication they showed all season long. We will be announcing an end-of-season celebration soon to recognize every player and the incredible work they put in. The future of Feliz Filadelfia baseball has never looked brighter.
