Tryouts for the Feliz Filadelfia 19-year-old baseball team has drawn from many neighborhoods of the city. In fact so my players, about 40, have turned up for the trials that Feliz Filadelfia is planning on fielding two teams in the division.
The season is set to start early June. The Feliz teams will be playing in the Phillies RBI Leon McClain division, the league which Feliz won last year. The league schedule should be announced shortly.
The Feliz team will be playing at the Ziehler Playground (B and Olney) because of the larger field.
Juan Romero will once more be head coach.
