Feliz Filadelfia soccer got an introduction to tournament soccer this past weekend when they played in a round robin with the Kensington Soccer Club and Global United FC from the Bustleton neighborhood this past Saturday.
Feliz Filadelfia fielded two teams, under 8 and under 10. The under 8’s won two of three matches against Kensington and Global United. The under 10’s won 1, tied 1, and lost 1 in their round robin.
The atmosphere was electric at the Kensington Soccer Club field with teams from four age groups playing and with lots of parents attending. A home rematch with Global United is being planned for the middle of June.
