The hard work and collaborative efforts made by the members of our community are demonstrated in our beautiful plant beds.
This season our children and parents planted Carrots, Zucchini Squash, Cilantro, Serrano Peppers, Green Bell Peppers, Onions, and Strawberries. Both parents and children come together throughout the week to water and maintain our gardens.
Ms. Vareline, a parent who is extremely active with maintaining our beds, expressed that our children are eager to take part in this effort. She says that the kids are focused on maintaining the flower beds and are excited to see how the gardens will continue to flourish.
The collaborative efforts made by Feliz Filadelfia and LandHealth Institute to help promote environmental awareness and increase community interaction continues to be a success!
