Four children and a parent showed up for the first session last week as the Feliz Filadelfia garden club got under way under the supervision of coach Taz.
“It was a good start,” said Coach Taz. “But once the weather gets better we will definitely have more come out, I believe”.
There are four planting beds next to the Feliz clubhouse. Coach Taz is holding gardening sessions twice each week this spring and summer on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:00. These gardening sessions are open to adults as well as children.
