On Saturday, March 16th Feliz Filadelfia had a cleanup day. We had over 40 adult and youth participants come out and help clean our ballfields and our surrounding neighborhood.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather, the temperature was 65° and bright outside. Our cleanup was followed by a barbecue, where sodas, juices, hotdogs, hamburgers and pulled pork sandwiches were served to everyone that helped out. Our very own web developer Jan made the delicious pulled pork and coach Hector was on the grill making some tasty burgers.
Kids also had the chance to play pick up baseball and soccer games on this day. We are now awaiting our baseball and soccer seasons to begin in April.
