Feliz Filadelfia teamed up with the Tookany-Tacony-Frankford Watershed (TTFW) organization on the morning of July 20 to tackle weeds and invasive plants invading the perimeter of the Hammond fields and Tacony Creek Park.
A lot of Feliz and Community members spent the better part of the day clearing our invasives and a lot of trash. With many of the larger branches cleared around the perimeter, it is our hope PP&R will be able to include these areas into the mowing schedule for a long term solution.
The Feliz-TTFW partnership is set to make a significant impact on our community. We eagerly anticipate more collaborative efforts in the near future.
